NAIROBI, Kenya- Kakamega Homeboyz FC tactician Nicholas Muyoti stated his intent to win the Kenya Premier League on Tuesday after he was named the January Fidelity Insurance Coach of the Month.

It's the first coaching accolade won by Muyoti, who’s prowess helped Homeboyz shoot to the top of the Kenya Premier League (KPL).

Muyoti underlined his credentials by ensuring that the Western Kenya-based side hang on to the position the team held for 15 days before being displaced.

"My appreciation also goes to the players, management and sponsors for working tirelessly and ensuring that we win our games.

We are prepared to go all the way and win this league even though our motto remains taking one game at a time," the former AFC Leopards SC midfielder said at the Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega.
