Hassan, Mwama Steer Bandari To Sink Guerdane In CAF Confederation First Leg

NAIROBI, Kenya- SportPesa Shield champions Bandari FC started off the second round of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign on good footing by sinking visiting US Ben Guerdane FC from Tunisia 2-0 at MISC Kasarani in Nairobi on Saturday.

Club’s reigning  top scorer Yemi Mwama headed in an Abdallah Hassan cross to give Bandari a 1-0 lead in the 70th minute.

This was followed by another quick goal by Hassan who headed in a William Wadri cross to stretch the tally to 2-0 in the 75th.

The visitors almost found the back of the net in the 20th through Dos Santos shot which was deflected out by Bandari defender Brian Otieno.

The hosts managed to compose and take control of the game with the help of Wadri who had amazing dribbling skills and firm shots that missed their targets by inches.
