NAIROBI, Kenya- SportPesa Premier League (SPL) champions, Gor Mahia FC beat AFC Leopards 2-0 in the 85th Mashemeji Derby held on Saturday at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in Nairobi.

The win saw the 17-time domestic league winners climb to second place in the standings  behind leaders Mathare United FC, but with a game in hand.

Further a field, Manchester United FC, Liverpool FC and Arsenal FC recorded victories in their English Premier League ties on the day.
