Epakan Ekaale, a Kenyan woman based in Turkana County has given birth to three babies and agreed to name them after Arsenal players.

The triplets have been named after Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, all who have already made their debuts for the Brazilian national team.

According to Kelvin Kiptum, the nurse who helped Ekaale deliver at the Kakuma Mission Hospital, the triplets were born safely.

Kiptum added that they knew beforehand that the lady was going to have more than one child after conducting an ultrasound.

“I was surprised when I was told that I would give birth to more than one baby. But I thank God I delivered safely with the help of health workers,” Ekaale was quoted by the Star.

However, despite the blessings, Ekaale was a worried woman because she is not in a position to provide for the kids.

The 30-year-old noted that she relies on a small charcoal-selling business in Northern Kenya to support her family.

Moreover, Ekaale divulged that the father of her children is abled differently and requested well-wishers to come to her aid.

Her prayers were answered when the supporters of the English Premier League side Arsenal FC visited her at the medical facility and donated some goodies.

The fans who were led by Emma Nasuru donated various products including diapers, baby formula and bathing soaps.

“We plan to provide additional support, including food supplies, and ensure regular check-ins after the mother’s discharge,” commented Nasuru.

This is not the first time that Kenyan Arsenal fans have come together for a noble course. Earlier this year, a section of them from Kakamega County, precisely Lugari Constituency helped preserve the environment by engaging in a tree planting exercise.

Furthermore, less than a month ago, hundreds of the fans congregated at church along Ngong Road and held inter-domination prayers.
