MOMBASA, Kenya- Bandari FC thrashed visiting Zoo Kericho FC 3-0 in a SportPesa Premier League (SPL) match held at Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa on Sunday to bridge the gap opened by leaders Gor Mahia FC at the summit.

Bandari scored the goals through Hassan Abdallah (13th minute), William Wadri (70th) and Shaban Kenga (85th) to realise the win.

The victory saw the SportPesa Cup finalists maintain the eight point gap between them and Gor who were up in arms against perennial rivals AFC Leopards SC in a Mashemeji Derby contest at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani in Nairobi.

Bandari are second on 61 points while Zoo dropped to 16th on 28 after the loss.
