NAIROBI, Kenya- World record holder,Eliud Kipchoge,indicated on Monday that he will defend his title at the Virgin Money London Marathon, an IAAF Gold Label road race, on Sunday April 28.

Among the rivals the 2018 World Athlete of the Year will battle include Mo Farah of Great Britain who set the European record over the distance in Chicago last October when he clocked 2:05:11 to collect his first major marathon victory.

Mwanza-based Tanzania Premier League (TPL) side, Mbao FC, also announced on the day, through their prolific striker Said Khamis, that they are eyeing the scalp of two time holders,Gor Mahia FC in the third edition of SportPesa Cup that gets underway in Dar es Salaam ,Tanzania  from January 22.
