Ingwe have accumulated 16 points to pull two clear of the drop zone in showing signs of recovery under their new head coach, Rwandan Andre Casa Mbungo, in arresting what was turning out to be a nightmare season that saw them slump to the bottom of the standings.

The 26 year-old Ochieng was born in Nairobi and spent his early career with Nairobi Stima FC- a second division side- before moving to Tusker and then Al-Taawon FC who play in the Saudi league.

The defender then shifted to New York Cosmos in February 2016 and left ahead of the 2018 season that he spent with Swedish club Brommapojkarna.

He has netted twice in 33 appearances for the national team and recently trained with Harambee Stars who are preparing to play their final 2019 AFCON qualifier away to Ghana.
