NAIROBI, Kenya- AFC Leopards SC have the chance to finish the weekend in second place on the SportPesa Premier League (SPL) if they manage a win against 2009 champions Sofapaka FC on Sunday at the Narok County Stadium.

Andre Casa Mbungo's charges are coming off a 1-1 draw with Western Stima FC and are confident they can down Batoto ba Mungu who were beaten 2-1 by Nzoia Sugar FC last weekend.

New signing John Mark Makwatta has been in fine goalscoring form and and Leopards will look to the former Al Nasr forward for the goals in crunch tie.

Second place Tusker FC, who were handed a 2-0 walkover win against Sony Sugar FC after they failed to show up citing financial constraints, will battle it out against Ulinzi Stars FC at the Afraha Stadium on Saturday afternoon. 

Kenya Commercial Bank FC (KCB) are in fourth place after a three-match unbeaten streak and can continue their fine form with a win against Zoo FC, who are languishing in 15th place having already lost five matches.
