Cameroon pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in the World Cup to force a 3-3 draw against Serbia in a thoroughly entertaining game at the Al Janoub Stadium.

The Indomitable Lions came back from 3-1 down in a frenetic second half to give them a lifeline and the hope of a spot in the knockout rounds.

Both Cameroon and Serbia came into the match on the back of losing their opening fixtures but now have a point to their name ahead of the final group game.

Group G leaders Brazil and Switzerland will battle it out later, with a win for either side guaranteeing a spot in the round of 16.

Cameroon got off to the perfect start as Jean-Charles Castelleto put them ahead as he tapped the ball into an empty net following poor defending from a corner.

Strahinja Pavlovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic hit back for Serbia before half time with two quickfire goals in added time to give Serbia a 2-1 advantage at the break.

In-form Fulham striker Aleksandr Mitrovic finally got off the mark in the tournament as he scored after a brilliant team effort to give his side a two-goal lead.

The deficit seemed to only push the Indomitable Lions as they roared back with Bayern Munich forward Eric Choupo-Moting equalizing after great work from substitute Vincent Aboubakar.

Aboubakar then had the final say with a brilliant lob over Vanja Milinkovic-Savic in the Serbian goal to bring his side level.

Under the tutelage of the country's most capped player, Rigobert Song, Cameroon now turn their focus to their final group game against tournament favorites Brazil on Friday.

Serbia will battle it out against the Swiss, with the result of the latter's game against Brazil later tonight carrying lots of weight on the final outcome of who progresses from this group.
