2023/24 CAF Champions League & Confederation Cup Draw in full

Al Ahly SC and USM Alger are the defending champions in the Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively.
- Al Ahly will begin their title defense in Group D alongside Yanga, Medeama and CR Belouizdad.
- 2016 winners Mamelodi Sundowns are in Group A and will be joined by Pyramids, TP Mazembe and Nouadhibou from Mauritania.
- 3-time champions Wydad headline Group B where they will face Simba, ASEC Mimosas and Botswanian representatives Jwaneng Galaxy who eliminated 1995 champions Orlando Pirates.

teams that qualified for the Group Stage of the CAF Champions League and the CAF
Confederation Cup have learnt their fate following the official competition
draws conducted on Friday, 06 October 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Al Ahly,
who are the defending champions in the CAF Champions League, will begin their
title defense in Group D alongside Tanzanian giants Yanga, Ghana’s Medeama and Algeria’s
CR Belouizdad.
2016
winners Mamelodi Sundowns are in Group A and will be joined by Pyramids from
Egypt, DRC giants TP Mazembe and surprise packages Nouadhibou from Mauritania
who surprised Mali’s Real Bamako.
3-time
champions Wydad headline Group B where they will face challenge from Tanzania’s
Simba, ASEC Mimosas and Botswananian representatives Jwaneng Galaxy who eliminated
1995 champions Orlando Pirates.
Group C has ES Tunis, Petro Athletico, Al Hilal and Étoile Sportive du Sahel.
CAF Confederation Cup
The group
stage draw for the CAF Confederation Cup has thrown up some tantalising
contests with some big clashes expected in the second-tier club competition.
Libyan side
Al Hilal were drawn in Group A alongside South African giants SuperSport
United, Egyptian club Future FC and holders USM Alger of Algeria.
Egyptian
powerhouse Zamalek, the 2019 winners, face a difficult Group B against Angola's
Sagrada Esperança, Guinea's SOAR and Libyan club Abu Salim.
Nigeria's
Rivers United meet Tunisian outfit Club Africain, Ghana's Dreams FC and
Angola's APC Lobito in Group C.
Moroccan
club RS Berkane take on Congolese team DC Motema Pembe, Malian side Stade
Malien and South Africans Sekhukhune United in Group D.
The group stage clashes will commence on 26 November, promising excitement and drama as the fight to reach the knockout phase begins.
