Refugee Team Set To Compete At Tokyo 2020 Olympics

TOKYO, Japan- A team of refugees will again take part at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, the International Olympic Committee said on Tuesday, after 10 refugees competed at the Rio Games. The decision was approved at the 133rd IOC meeting in Buenos Aires. Deputy general director Pere Miro, who is in charge of relations with national Olympic committees, said the IOC "has identified 51 athletes living in refugee camps or in refugee conditions". READ MORE
