NAIROBI, Kenya- Former Kenya Simbas captain Wilson K’Opondo will put on the armband as he leads his country against Hong Kong on Saturday, November 17 in the ongoing World Cup qualification Repecharge in France.

K’Opondo returns as captain following the shoulder injury suffered by Davis Chenge during their opening 65-19 humiliation by Canada.

The technical bench expects to have him back in the playing squad by the time the team is playing Germany on Friday 23.

The Simbas have made six changes to the squad with Elkeans Musonye, Felix Ayage, Nelson Oyoo also included in the starting line-up as Simbas brace for Hong Kong this Saturday.

Ephraim Oduor and Dalmus Chituyi will start the match off the bench.

Mohammed Omollo, Moses Amusala, Oliver Mang’eni and Darwin Mukidza will be rested for the encounter this weekend.
