Rwanda international Jacques Tuyisenge scored a brace as SportPesa Premier League (SPL) champions Gor Mahia FC beat Sony Sugar FC 2-0 at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Wednesday afternoon to become the first player to score over 40 goals for the club since the legendary Peter Dawo. 

Freshly-minted SportPesa Cup champions Kariobangi Sharks FC marked their return to local football by sweating out a barren draw against league leaders Mathare United FC in a result that left both teams unbeaten in the competition.
