NAIROBI, Kenya- Togo national team first choice goal-keeper Djehani N’guissan Yao is among the 11 players who were unveiled by Sofapaka FC in Nairobi on Thursday ahead of the new Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season kick-off on Friday.

Other top signings by the club include former Gor Mahia FC midfielders Cersidy Okeyo and Timonah Wanyonyi and bullish striker Wanjala Muchuma who joins from Chemelil Sugar FC.

At the same time, the club introduced their new Angolan tactician Divaldo Alves who has pledged to help the side reclaim the trophy they last won in 2009.

“This is one great family and I’m very excited to be part of it. We have very good players in all positions and if we are able to gel fast, we will be definitely a force to reckoned with this season,” Alaves underlined.

“I want us to play continental football next year. We will be going for every available accolade this season, definitely our priority is to win the league title after the ten-year drought, but we also want to lift everything,” he reiterated.
