MACHAKOS, Kenya- Visiting Kakamega Homeboyz FC thrashed Mt. Kenya United FC 6-0 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Saturday to hand their new tactician Nicholas Muyoti his first SportPesa Premier League (SPL) victory with the club.

The winners found the back of the net in the 19th and 26th minutes to carry a 2-0 lead at half time. They proceeded to pump in four more goals on resumption to seal the win that took them to the top ten with 21 points after 16 matches as Mt. Kenya (12) dipped to the bottom of the table.

Vincent Wasambo and Erick Kapaito were on target for the 2019 SportPesa Cup champions, Kariobangi Sharks FC as they edged Chemelil Sugar FC 2-0 at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani in Nairobi to move to the top five.

This was Sharks sixth victory in 15 games while Chemelil, who have so far won three this season, descended to 14th after the loss.

Gor have traveled to Algeria to face face NA Hussein Dey in their CAF Confederations Cup return leg of their Pool D fixture to be played on Sunday.
