Shujaa Outfoxed By England In Hamilton Challenge Trophy Final

Kenya beat Tonga 19-12 in the quaterfinal before sinking Argentina 24-7 in the semis on their way to the tough final.

HAMILTON, New Zealand- Kenya Shujaa lost 7-36 to England in the Challenge Trophy Final in the third leg of the 2018/2019 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series  in Hamilton, New Zealand on Sunday morning.

Kenya’s only try in the match was scored by Vincent Onyala in the fourth minute as Brian Wahinya did a successful conversion.

England’s try scorers were Daniel Bibby (1st and 8th),Tom Bowen (6th and 13th)and Dan Norton (7th and 10th).

On the other hand, England beat France 21-5 and Spain 38-7 in the quarters and semis in that order to book a date with Shujaa.

Shujaa had finished third in pool C with five points which saw them narrowly miss the Main Cup quarterfinals on Saturday.
