This is after the
visiting team turned up with only eight minutes to kick-off with kit the same
colour as that of the soldiers.
The decision to call
off the match left the Golden Boot race wide open as Ochieng’ came into the
rescheduled tie, one shy of Allan Wanga’s tally of 18 goals.
The dependable
forward broke the deadlock in the 15th to give Ulinzi a 1-0 lead going into the
halftime break.
Oscar Musa Wamalwa
then doubled the advantage five minutes after the restart before Ochieng’ got
his second two minutes later.

Ochieng’ completed
his hat trick on the hour mark to secure his status as the coveted Golden Boot
Award and a resounding victory for Ulinzi.
The result ensures that
Ulinzi finish the season in eighth place on 45 points, level with Kariobangi
Sharks FC but the soldiers boast a better goal difference.
