PARIS, France- Portugal-based winger Clifton Miheso and fellow midfielder, Anthony Akumu have been axed by head coach Sébastien Migné from the final 23-man Harambee Stars squad that will represent Kenya at the Egypt 2019 CAF Africa Cup of Nations.

Injured duo, defender Brian Mandela and young forward, Christopher Mbamba also failed to make the list where striker Masud Juma, who has been the subject of intense debate since he was selected in Migné's first preliminary squad in May nailing a place in the final team.

Defenders Musa Mohamed and Abud Omar, who picked up knocks in their 1-0 friendly win over Madagascar last week also made the team that will be captained by Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama.

Stars will play the Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday in Madrid, Spain before travelling to Cairo four days later for their first AFCON showing in 15 years.
