NAIROBI, Kenya- If you are an Autocross lover, then Jamhuri Grounds in Nairobi is the place to be this Sunday for high octane action mixed with entertainment treat.

Among the drivers expected to make your heart to skip a beat with hair raising stunts are Zameer and Nazir Verjee of Studio A to Z Racing Team who will be out to stretch their lead in 2WD Non Turbo Class in the second leg of the National Autocross Championship.

Zameer emerged winner while his father, Nazir, finished third to tally 22 points for their team that won the category in the championship opening leg in Mai Mahiu last month.

"Following our past experiences, we opted to test our buggies this week and we are more than happy with their performance. We’ve also finalised the suspensions to aid our jumps in Jamhuri,” Zameer underlined.

Zameer started his racing career in an Attacker One Buggy in the 2WD T Class, but has since dusted the floor with his opponents after acquiring a Rage Buggy in 2019.

“I can say the season started well and I'd like to carry the spirit into the next one. The essence is to take each race at a time,” he added.

A hot battle is also brewing in the Bambino Class where series leader Illiyun Mughal will be up against defending champion Yuvraj Rajput and Tesvi Soni.

Kiana Rajput and Tsirav Sink will also resume their  rivalry in the Pee Wee Class.
