Bandari Aiming For SPL Summit As They Tackle KCB In Mbaraki

NAIROBI, Kenya- Third placed Bandari FC will host visiting Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) FC at Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa where victory will return them to the SportPesa Premier League summit.

Bandari are already  inspired with a 2-1 victory against Western Stima last Sunday while ninth placed KCB will be out to redeem their image after a 1-0 loss to Sofapaka last weekend.  

At the same time, Mathare United FC will entertain Nzoia Sugar FC at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani in Nairobi.

The Slum Boys are buoyed with the return of their defender Samuel Olwande who has been out with injury since last October.

“It feels good to be back. I have really missed playing football so it’s wonderful to kick the ball again. I have really learnt a lot during this period. It’s important to be patient and to have a positive mentality,” Olwande underlined.

Mathare suffered a 0-2 loss to Ulinzi Stars FC last week which saw them dipped to sixth on 35 points while 11th placed Nzoia had a slim 1-0 victory over Vihiga United FC which saw them move safer from the relegation zone.

Bottom placed Mt. Kenya United FC are looking to return to winning ways as they host Chemelil Sugar at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

In other matches of the day, Stima will battle Ulinzi Stars at Moi Stadium in Kisumu as Zoo Kericho FC clash with Vihiga  at Kericho Green Stadium.
