NAIROBI, Kenya- SportPesa Premier League outfit and 12-time national champions AFC Leopards SC have officially joined the global portfolio of respected English sportswear firm Umbro.

In confirmining the deal, Umbro hailed the success of the club that has also won five regional and 10 domestic cups and the ability to connect with leading teams around the world making for an exciting partnership.

Umbro will be the exclusive technical partner of the club, supplying Leopards' playing squad with high performance competition, training, and off field apparel.

Ingwe technical and management staff will be supplied with branded apparel, equipment, and luggage.

Leopards products will also be available for fans to purchase.

"We are honoured to be working together with a renowned brand like Umbro for our kits and look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership," Leopards chairman Dan Mule stated.

Donovan Bell from Umbro South Africa added: "We feel Leopards is the perfect club to partner with for our first deal in Kenya.

Alongside Leopards, Umbro sponsor a number of top teams around the world including Everton, West Ham United, AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town (English Premier League); FC Schalke 04, Werder Bremen and 1. FC Nürnberg (German Bundesliga); AmaZulu FC, Black Leopards FC, Bloemfontein Celtic FC and Cape Town City FC (South African Premier Soccer League); Township Rollers FC (Botswana Premier League); Zesco United FC (Zambian Premier League); Accra Hearts of Oak (Ghana Premier League).
