Gor Mahia continued their unbeaten start to the Kenya Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw against newcomers Police FC on Saturday.

The record KPL winners are on top of the table with 14 points despite a second successive draw, following a barren draw against Ulinzi Stars in midweek.

Boniface Omondi put K'Ogalo ahead in the 54th minute but Clifton Miheso scored six minutes later against his former employers to salvage a point.

Kariobangi Sharks hammered champions Tusker FC 3-0 to shoot to second place with 13 points after six games.

Felix Oluoch, whos is the current KPL top scorer with six goals, gave Sharks the lead before prodigal son Sydney Lokale and Patrick Otieno sealed all three points for William Muluya's side.

Sharks are level on points with Nairobi City Stars, Bandari and Kakamega Homeboyz who round up the top six places in the competitive league standings.

Robert Matano's side are currently in 11th place on the table with six points, after losing three of their opening five matches.

Bandari and Homeboyz played out to a 1-1 draw after Benjamin Mosha's goal was canceled out by Brian Eshihanda's 63rd minute equalizer.

Homeboyz remain unbeaten after playing five games and are a point above Ulinzi Stars, who also have not lost a game this season.

Wazito, Nzoia and Vihiga are rooted to the bottom three spots on the log, with none of them able to register a first win of the season thus far.

AFC Leopards continued their torrid start to the campaign after losing 1-0 to Sofapaka on Saturday courtesy of a John Waithera effort.

Ingwe have only won once this season, an opening day victory over the brewers, and now sit one place above the relegation zone with 4 points.
