Nicholas Kipkirui then scored his second goal in as many matches in the 14th minute of the game to make it 3-0.

Stima pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 44th minute and came back stronger in the second half, scoring a second in the 75th minute but could not find an equalizing goal.

Gor now have a seven point lead with 51, ahead of second place Kakamega Homeboyz FC, who are in action tomorrow at home to Nzoia Sugar FC.

Tusker FC missed out on the opportunity to jump into second place as they were held to a 2-2 draw by basement club Kisumu All Stars FC.

Elsewhere, a 70th minute Enosh Ochieng' penalty was enough for Ulinzi Stars FC who edged Sofapaka FC 1-0 to move up to fourth on the table with 42 points.

Ten-man AFC Leopards SC were also 1-0 winners on the day with a much-needed victory over Chemelil Sugar FC.

Clyde Senaji was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 78th minute but the lead Ingwe had courtesy of yet another Elvis Rupia goal was enough to make it two wins on the bounce.
