Eintracht Frankfurt will play Rangers in the 2021/22 UEFA Europa League final after both sides registered second leg wins on Thursday night.

Frankfurt beat 10-man West Ham 1-0 as Rafael Borre hammered home from Ansgar Knauff's low ball in the 26th minute to gift them a deserved 3-1 aggregate victory.

Aaron Cresswell pulled down Jens Petter Hauge in the 17th minute and was shown a straight red card which proved to be costly for the Hammers.

The night got even worse for West Ham when a frustrated Moyes booted the ball at a ball boy and was shown a straight red card.

This will be the German outfits first European final since 1980, with West Ham made wait for a 43rd year for a major trophy, as they sit out next season's Champions League as well.

In the other semi, Scottish side Rangers continued their dream European season with a 3-1 home win against RB Leipzig in a memorable night for the hosts.

Rangers turned the semi-final on its head within 25 minutes through goals from James Tavernier and Glen Kamara.

Christopher Nkunku's 32nd goal of the season levelled the tie again before John Lundstram shook Ibrox with 10 minutes left after sweeping home.

Giovani van Bronckhorst's men will be licking their lips at the chance to win the clubs first European trophy in 50 years.

The final will be played in Seville on Wednesday, May 18.
