Julio Enciso scored an absolute screamer as Brighton and Hove Albion held Manchester City to a 1-1 stalemate on Wednesday evening at the Amex Stadium.

Enciso's 38th minute thunderbolt canceled out Phil Foden's 25th minute opener as both teams had to settle for a point.

The result means that Manchester City have now put together an impressive 25-game unbeaten run even after being declared English Premier League champions.

Haaland had a goal ruled out for a pull on his marker in 79th minute following a video assistant referee review, as Brighton held on for a draw that ends City's 12-match winning run in the Premier League.

As for Brighton, the hard-earned point seals a top-six finish and cements a place in next season's Europa League group stage.

Roberto De Zerbi's side fired off a staggering 20 shots against the best team in England.

No opponent had managed more than 13 against City in the Premier League before Wednesday. Only two sides have ever hit more against a side managed by Guardiola.

Both teams now switch their focus to the last matchday in the league which kicks off on Sunday at 6pm.

Brighton will be away at Aston Villa, while Man City finish their top flight season with a match against Brentford.
