NAIROBI, Kenya- Bandari FC got a second win in 10 matches on Saturday afternoon as they downed Kisumu All Stars FC 2-0 at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu to move up to 11th on the SportPesa Premier League (SPL) table.

Congolese forward Yema Mwama got the dockers off to a great start with a thunderous effort in the 18th minute to put them on course for all three points a long way from home. 

Bandari controlled possession throughout the first half and held on to the lead into the halftime break. 

The second and final goal of the game came in the 69th minute through Shaban Kenga to seal the rare win for Bandari who are now in 11th place with 15 points after 13 matches. 

The newcomers All Stars remain deep in the relegation zone, still with eight points level with Kariobangi Sharks FC, only better than basement club Chemelil Sugar FC. 

All Stars resume duty next Sunday with an uphill task against record league winners Gor Mahia FC.
