NAIROBI, Kenya- Costly court cases and a hefty Kenya Revenue Authority tax bill forced 'broke' Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to give up the hosting rights to the 2018 CAF Africa Women Cup of Nations and Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup competitions. At a charged press conference, federation president, Nick Mwendwa complained they were forced to make the decision to cancel the tournaments in an effort to keep the cash-strapped organisation afloat as he once again slammed the office of his predecessor, Sam Nyamweya, for placing them in such a mess.
