EPL to kick-start season when Man United host Leicester at Old Trafford

NAIROBI, Kenya- Excitement is in the air ahead of the start of the new European football season that kicks-off on Friday when Manchester United FC welcome Leicester City FC to Old Trafford on Friday night in the English Premier League (EPL).

On Tuesday, South Africa based satellite pay television provider DStv rolled out its packages covering EPL, Spanish LaLiga and Italian Serie A, with the latter returning to its bouquet ahead of the new season.

The firm announced they would beam all 380 EPL matches with the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League continental competitions among others, part of their offering for the forthcoming football season.

“Our subscribers will get live football action throughout the season with expert commentary for every match.

“Our key priority is to provide the highest quality viewing experiences for the biggest and best moments in sports for our customers," Multichoice Kenya Managing Director, Eric Adipo noted.

He added that company would continue to provide subscribers a variety of other sports disciplines including Rugby, Cycling, Golf, Tennis, Athletics, Cricket, Motorsport and International Boxing.

The firm, through their subsidiary SuperSport were the broadcast partners of the SportPesa Premier League until February 2017 when they ended their 10-year agreement with the top flight on charges of breach of contract.
