NAIROBI, Kenya- Kariobangi Sharks FC played out to a goalless draw with Asante Kotoko of Ghana in the first leg of their CAF Confederations Cup tie at the Kasarani Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Sharks who are making their maiden appearance in the continental competition after beating Sofapaka FC to the SportPesa Shield Trophy were the better side but failed to find the back of net.

The William Muluya-coaches side showed that they too are worthy of playing in the big boys league as they came close in the first half on two separate occasions but were unlucky not to break the deadlock.
