NAIROBI, Kenya- The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) have released the ticketing information for the upcoming International friendly match pitting Kenya against Malawi on Tuesday, September 11.

The match will be played at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani starting at 3 pm.

Big Brother Events and Ticketing will take charge of the event that will see fans part with KSh 100 to access the stands, whilst VIP tickets will cost KSh 500.

Sebastian Migne’s side will be looking to put on as good a show as they did last Saturday when they beat the Black Stars of Ghana 1-0 at the same venue.

There was plenty more at stake in that particular fixture which was a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier, with the win leaving Kenya second in the group behind their opponents.

An own goal by Nicholas Opoku late in the first half was enough for the Kenyans who managed to hold on to the precious lead despite finishing the game with 10 men.

Three points

Gor Mahia’s Joash Onyango was sent off in the second half after a reckless but professional foul on Thomas Partey.

After the weekend results, it could be still be anyone’s group as they are all level on three points after two matches, the only differentiating factor being the number of goals scored and conceded.

The friendly match against Malawi will be the final build-up match ahead of the third AFCON Qualifier Group F match against Ethiopia in October 2018.

Following an injury to Philemon Otieno in the victory over Ghana, Migne will be forced to reshuffle his back four, especially since his replacement Jockins Atudo didn’t seem convincing after joining the fray.

Bandari FC goalkeeper Farouk Shikhalo may get the nod ahead of Patrick Matasi, as well as Zesco United FC striker Jesse Were and Pistone Mutamba, who both didn’t feature agaist Ghana.
